Classic Race Car Preparation
Competition Classics brings more than 50 years of combined historic motorsport experience to the preparation and support of significant competition cars.

Our historic race car preparation service combines traditional motorsport knowledge with modern engineering, workshop facilities and a methodical approach to reliability and performance. Every car is prepared with close attention to safety, eligibility, reliability and performance before it leaves our workshop.

From routine pre-race preparation to complete rebuilds and development programmes, we work with historic competition cars from across the eras of motorsport, preparing them for racing in the UK and throughout Europe.
Our race preparation capabilities include:
- engine and drivetrain preparation
- suspension and brake set-up
- fabrication and engineering
- electrical systems
- safety equipment
- race inspections
- complete pre-event preparation

Classic Race Car Preparation - Testing & Set-Up
Reliability, safety and performance are fundamental to every historic race car we prepare. Our testing and set-up programmes allow us to identify potential issues, develop the car and establish the optimum set-up before a race weekend.
- Pre-season and pre-event testing
· Suspension and chassis set-up
· Brake and drivetrain checks
· Engine and fluid inspections
· Fuel system checks
· Comprehensive pre-race inspections
· Post-race inspection and maintenance
· Driver feedback and set-up development
Our methodical approach means every major component and system is inspected from front to rear. Identifying and resolving issues before arriving at the circuit allows valuable track time to be concentrated on fine-tuning the car, developing its set-up and maximising performance.
Trackside Race Support
Competition Classics provides professional trackside race support for historic competition cars throughout the UK and Europe.

Our experienced race engineers and mechanics provide complete support throughout the race weekend, from unloading and initial preparation through practice and qualifying to the race itself.

Working from the paddock, garage and pit lane, we monitor the car throughout the event, responding to driver feedback, making set-up changes, carrying out inspections and maintenance and resolving problems as they arise.

We also transport comprehensive spares and equipment packages appropriate to each car, giving our team the resources required to respond quickly to mechanical problems and maximise the opportunity of keeping the car on track.

Transport & Logistics
Competition Classics can provide a complete historic race car transport and event logistics service, allowing our customers to concentrate on their racing.

With extensive experience supporting race programmes throughout the UK and continental Europe, we can coordinate the movement of cars, equipment, spares and personnel to and from the circuit.

Our race logistics support can include vehicle transportation, race equipment and spares, ferry and travel arrangements, accommodation and event planning.

Whether attending a single UK race meeting or undertaking a European historic racing programme, our team can manage the logistics required to ensure the car, equipment and personnel arrive prepared and ready for the event.
